A sculptural relief plaque of the coat of arms of Bishop Serratelli, made for a cathedral in New Jersey, USA. The coat of arms was modelled in scupltural relief, moulded in glass fibre reinforced polyester resin, hand painted with cellulose paints, and finished with cellulose lacquer. The effect of the knotted cords was particularly hard to achieve. These were moulded in sections in polyester resin, reinforced with metal wires, from silicone rubber moulds, and assembled and finished in detail by hand.
